About Us

Elevate Community Outreach Center aims to connect with and support residents, often those facing challenges, by offering vital services, resources, or information, fostering a sense of community and collective well-being while also giving spiritual guidance and peace of mind knowing that someone cares for them.

Our Purpose:

Elevate Community Outreach Center (E.C.O.C.) programs are designed to address the needs of underserved or marginalized populations, ensuring equitable access to essential services and resources.  While partnering with other agencies such as Son of the City Youth and Adult program, The New Castle City Rescue Mission, The Shay Foundation, and more including local businesses, we are able to help Educate the community about available resources and opportunities

• Offering Home healthcare options, educational information, social services, veteran Affairs (PTSD, Addiction, Counseling, etc.), battered women, Child Advocacy (Abuse, Mentoring, Child Development, etc.), Homelessness, Distribution of hygiene products, Coat drives, Hat and glove drives, food drives, and guidance with housing, employment, and even guidance with utility bills and so much more.
• Collaborating with local organizations, community leaders, and residents to address shared challenges
• Creating channels for community members to voice their needs and concerns

We also have a community Chapel service every Saturday in our multi purpose area lead by Pastor James Henderson Jr. where the community, the homeless, the broken, and the discouraged can come and get a sense of worth.  While receiving an encouraging message and also listening to incredible praise music by the Elevate Community Outreach Center Praise Band. 

Veterans Affairs

Employment search: Assisting with job search and job readiness

*how to fill out applications, interview prep, how to prepare a resume, etc.

Housing search: Assisting with the search for housing and funding for housing

*connecting them with other social service agencies that can provide the funding for their housing and support with finding furniture.

Transportation: Assisting with LOCAL transportation

*for Medical appointments, and Social service appointments

Counseling: Providing counseling

* PTSD, Drug and Alcohol abuse, and spiritual wellbeing

Disabled Veterans assistance: Providing onsite temporary housing

*temporarily housing DISABLED veterans during their permanent housing search (30 days stay)

Battered Women

Counseling: Providing confidential counseling

*Verbal abuse, Physical abuse, Addiction, etc

*singles counseling

-reminding the woman its ok to be single

Trafficking awareness: Educating the womenswear 

*explaining and educating them on the signs of trafficking

Addiction

Counseling: Christian Drug and Alcohol Counseling

*12 steps according to Biblical standards

-assistance in locating recovery programs and rehabilitation facilities suitable for the client

Homeless Assistance

Education: GED readiness and College readiness

*assisting the people with getting started and the importance

*showing people how to do thing on their own so they don’t have to depend on people (the government)

Housing search: Assisting with the search for housing and funding for housing

*connecting them with other social service agencies that can provide the funding for their housing and support with finding furniture.

Homeless necessities: Assisting with the hunger and cleanliness

*directing them to food distribution centers and food pantries

*providing toiletries

- toothpaste, tooth brushes, combs and brushes, soap/body wash, shampoo and conditioner, razors, etc..

-assistance in locating recovery programs and rehabilitation facilities suitable for the client

Youth and Young adults

Job readiness: Helping educate them on the importance of working hard

*teaching basic trade skills

- Carpentry, Cooking, sewing, etc

Counseling: Assisting parents with counseling

*Depression, bullying, peer pressure, drug abuse, school, Physical and sexual abuse, etc

Mentoring: Elevating the young people’s mentality

*assisting in college application, college readiness, SAT/ACT test

*teaching the importance of integrity

Spiritual

Fellowship Center: Weekly Community worship service/devotional/fellowship

*Ordained Pastors on staff

*weekly community bible study’s

*independent Spiritual counseling and devotionals
