James “Manny” Henderson is a licenses and ordained Minister that has been blessed with the understanding and knowledge of relationships with people and worshipers and an understanding of the word and it's entirety.

    James started his  ministry at a very young age at his local church and, studying under the great Dr. Curtis R Lewis (Gospel hall of fame inductee).  Through the years he has continued to seek with diligence the meaning of relationship and the meaning of a true worship by studying the word.  Answering the call, March of 2007 Pastor Henderson was ordained in the Church Of God In Christ.  Pastor Henderson diligently sought and continues to seek God and the understanding of the word in order to be more equip to help ensure that all those touched by the ministry will be changed through the word of God and the divine understanding that only God can give.  Under the tutelage of the late Bishop Danny Lee Stanton, Pastor Henderson was reaffirmed and installed as Pastor of the Elevate Community Outreach Center on November 21, 2021 as Bishop Stanton believed that with Pastor Henderson's knowledge, experience, and certifications, that Pastor Henderson has a great opportunity to help draw the ones who feel rejected, lost, depressed, addicted, and so many more into the kingdom of God.

   Pastor Henderson is currently employed as the associate director at the City Rescue Mission (New Castle, Pa)   Being a certified drug and alcohol counselor, certified youth counselor, and a certified life coach, James has been able to help the homeless, the less fortunate, the addicted, the beaten, and the spiritually lost.   Pastor Henderson has the privilege of being married to his incredible wife of 5 years A'Raiyna L. Henderson who operates as the vice president of the board of directors for ECOC. Also having a Bachelors in business, A'Raiyna helps with the finances and general day to day business operation. They have 7 children and all are very active members in the community and in the ministry. While Pastor Henderson loves music and is an great musician, his passion is the personal connection with God that comes through becoming a true worshiper (John 4:23) and helping people learn more about God and the life he wants us to live and to help people enter into a true worship..
